Day 120

These drawings may be related to one of those top secret projects. They're probably not though...

....Ooooooooo

In other news, I did not win the Macmillan Prize - didn't even get a mention. Pish. There's always next year. And I'll probably publish the book myself. Unless you want to...

Day 119

Today I went to London. I definitely like London. Visited the Pick Me Up exhibition at Somerset House (well worth the visit if you're around) and then went to the British Museum to do some drawing! Turns out, I quite enjoy drawing Roman and Greek sculptures, and quite enjoy not completing drawings. Images!

In other news, I currently have two super-top-secret projects that will hopefully be going ahead in the not-too-distant future. I am very excited (and a little drunk).

Night Night x

Day 118

Another one for the bird-off. This time a Wagtail. He is stood on a house. I hope he is careful. Oh my...

Day 117

So I'm going on holiday in under 3 weeks. This is very exciting. I think this is the house we're staying in. It probably isn't though.

It's very late.

Day 116

Hello!

I am currently in the midst of a 'bird-off' with lovely illustrator and fellow bird enthusiast (kewl) Jenny Robins. Here is a hummingbird - there was also a hummingbird yesterday but he did not please me so has been made better.

Day 114

Far too many triangles in my life.

Day 112

Today (or I suppose yesterday by this time of night - one day I'll manage to post something before midnight) is my friend Ian Lawton's birthday. Ian has lots of lizards, but I forget what lizards he has so here is a chameleon!

Happy Birthday Chamel-IAN! (genius)

In other news, I saw the film 'Dear John' this evening - don't judge me, I thought it would be funny. The film had autism, cancer, 9/11 and war. Somehow it managed to not even be funny on an ironic level. Annoying.

Day 111

Did someone say something about a volcano?

Day 108

Experienced curry goat for the first time ever yesterday thanks to the lovely Genevieve Morgan and family.

Delicious.

Day 107

Day 106

Another double-page spread from my children's story. Lots more to do before I take it to Macmillan on monday. Having a very annoying time with technical details - as well as with Uni printers, of which I definitely didn't break any today. Not one.

Day 105

More Macmillan...and plenty more still to do.

Wednesday, 14 April 2010

Day 104

Here's another (probably more worseterly put together) one for the Macmillan Prize.

Day 103

Here is a (poorly mashed together using an A4 scanner) illustration from my bleak children's story about some bison and some snow for the Macmillan Prize. Screenprint and pencil. Suitably chilly.

Day 99

Today, myself and my good friends Rowan and Jane visited Monk Park Farm where you can touch and feed many animals! We touched sheep and goats and lambs and llamas and cows and ponies and pigs and piglets and geese and probably some others and it was very nice, although it was slightly worrying as many of the animals didn't seem like they were in particularly good shape, particularly one pig whose skin was green and not attached. Something had gone wrong with him.

Photos!

Here is a donkey face. Very close.

Here are some deer.

Billy Idol.

Hello goat.

This guy was very sketchy. He made me nervous.

This guy was also sketchy, but very pretty.

Here is a llama and people.

Here is a drawing of a donkey. I think he is in space. Yeah.

Day 98

Day 97

I need to draw some pretty threatening wolves for my Macmillan Prize entry. So far they're turning out pretty cute. I think it might be due to my genteel nature. Shit.

Day 96

An owl treehouse for Sally Fothergill. Its where they hang out. With their friends. I hate owls.

Not really.

Day 95

Happy Birthday James Wright!

I do not know James, but Felipe Pires Dias requested that I create something involving James, Big Bird and Bruce Springsteen for his birthday. It's a bit of a cop-out but, because I couldn't think of anything good, I just played a game of exquisite corpse with myself at different points today.

I think I might be lonely...

In other news: Hello.

Day 92

April Fools! I was kidding...

That was pretty H-I-larious.

Seriously.
